Project Overview
For people facing mental health challenges, access to compassionate support can make a meaningful difference.
Created for The Salvation Army Canada and CNW Group, this short awareness film explores the role community-based services can play in helping to fill gaps in mental health support.
Built around an authentic interview, the piece keeps the individual and their experience at the centre of the story. The visual approach is intimate and understated, creating a natural environment that allows an important and deeply human conversation to unfold.
Orange House Media provided cinematography for the project, bringing a documentary-inspired approach to the production through thoughtful composition, natural imagery, and a visual style designed to support the story without distracting from it.
The project reflects the power of documentary filmmaking and nonprofit storytelling to bring important social issues to life through authentic human experiences, helping organizations create meaningful connections with the audiences and communities they serve.
